It’s probably the best sushi in the area, but it isn’t that good - the bar is just so insanely low!It doesn’t matter though - no one around here has a clue what good sushi is. Heck, the best sushi place is an Asian fusion restaurant - That should tell you something!

Wish there was half stars. Best Chinese around, tried them all.

I love this place I've gone here for over 5 years and everytime it's been amazing.

Wonderful food, fast and friendly service- this place can't be beat! The lunch specials were great, but they recently redid their menu so I need to get accustomed to the new options. I got an avocado roll this week and as simple as that is, it was amazing! The scallion pancakes were also delicious.

Good prices and quantity of food for lunch. Many good dishes to choose from. Japanese noodle soups are very tasty, and of course so is the Sushi.

The food was delicious, but the wait staff that we had rushed us through our entire meal.

Decent sushi. Not sure why all the sushi restaurants out here use imitation crab sticks in their rolls. Shredded Snow crab should be what is used.

Love Sushi Joy! Been going there for over a decade! Great food (I highly recommend the lunch bento boxes) and very friendly service.

Great options. Very original rolls I've never seen before. Lobster tempura roll is amazing.

Interesting menu good food

My favorite local place for sushi, consistently good sushi, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. Chinese and Japanese menu ensures there is a choice for everyone.

That place is very big! It’s perfect for big parties. They have a big selection of dishes and the server were nice. I went on a Tuesday night, so it might have been a little dead than on a weekend. The prices were normal for Boston. I totally want to go again and try more selection from their menu.

Signs saying OPEN FOR TAKE OUT AND DELIVERY EVERYWHERE, but closed. Nice.

Our spot to go for Chinese, Japanese and sushi. Best sushi in town, hands down. This place is always fantastic, never had a bad meal. We always sit at the bar and always have a friendly conversation with whoever is tending bar or sitting next to us.

Simply the best . High end food and drinks . I don’t recommend Friday and Saturday nights because I need the room at the bar for my wife and I . It is a great get away .

Great sushi, fresh fish and reasonable price. Nice atmosphere, the service there was good. People there were super nice to my cousin's little son. He doesn't wanna leave at the end, LOL. Me and my family were having a great time there. Will be back soon😊

My wife loved her Godzilla and house rolls. My orange chicken was okay. It was a little fattier and smaller portion than I had expected.

The food and service at Sushi Joy is amazing. I was lucky enough to have dishes created for me by the chef that are not even on the menu. This is the perfect place to go for fresh, reasonably priced sushi!

Excellent sushi & Chinese food (higher end Chinese than your typical Chinese restaurant food). Wait staff is friendly & attentive. I have been a customer since they opened. The staff takes the time to get to know you. Highly recommend it.

Service and food size was wounderful

Stopped in for take out. Ordered the salmon avacado roll. It was really good and the staff were friendly.

Got a buck a chuck deal for oysters as a special (oysters from Connecticut) and good sushi

Seemed good when we first arrived but went down hill after that. Ordered a Pu pu platter for 2 that had semi raw wings. When they brought the dish I ordered it was wrong and had to go back.It took 15 minutes to get a second iced tea( there were only 5 people in there besides us)Paid with a credit card but had planned to leave a cash tip. Our waitress showed another waitress who came to our table to ask why no tip. I told her our plan to leave cash. They stood and watched us til we stood up to leave. The waitress that came over came to our table came back as we moved to leave eyeballing the table for the tip! I have never been so uncomfortable in my life.

Tonkatsu (pork cutlet), miso soup, and service was sub-standard, but tha accompanying salad was quite good. After many meals there, it was the first time I was disappointed.

Used to love coming here. But recently went back and the place has changed. Service was earful the waiter ignored my food allergies order food I couldn’t eat. The sushi (which was awesome) was terrible, the order was wrong and it basically look like they three some fish on a plate. I spoke to a waitress that I recognized, I asked her what has changed and the owners Arny around as much. So if your reading Mr or Miss Sushi Joy please go back there and get this place back on track.

We got to the restaurant at 8:50pm, and the restaurant was SUPPOSED to close at 9:30. The waiter was extremely persistent with taking our order as quickly as possible. The food was delicious, but when all was said and done we were being pushed out the door by 920. The lights were being shut off, and the bartender left 5 min before us. Not sure there was any type of management there, but I do hope they read this to fix the issue, because the food was really yummy.

Not as good as I remembered. Space is nice and staff is friendly but food was just ok.

I told my friends about this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is flavorable and the crew is attentive and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we enjoy a cheerful evening. warmly recommended.

Rice taste so gross here idk if it's the pan they use but I wont be back. Beef teriyaki is a nasty mushy consistency I dont understand the hype my family hates it
